Things I love about my kids getting older

1. No large pieces of baby equipment. No high chair, exersaucer etc.
2. Packing for trips is a lot easier...no packing of said large pieces.
3. No babyproofing. Moving was easier with no plug covers, cabinet locks, gates.
4. They can dress themselves.
5. No diapers!
6. They can read.
7. They can buckle themselves in the car.
8. They can put on their own shoes.
9. Not so bound to a eating/napping schedule.
10. I can read at the pool.
11. They can go outside without me.
12. They can fix their own breakfast.....sleeping in for me!
13. Less crying, more reasoning.
14. No sippy cups, no finding scary sippy cups under the couch.
15. I can pee alone......sometimes.
16. I can take longer showers.
17. Can buy all regular groceries.
18. I cook only one meal......not that they eat it.
19. Everyone showers.
20. They can be alone in a room.
